The Technology Commercialization & Innovation Program (TCIP) is a State-funded grant program developed by the Utah Legislature in 1986 to help accelerate the commercialization of promising technologies that have strategic value for Utah. Utah Centers of Excellence

The Centers of Excellence (COE) is a State-sponsored program that helps to fund the process of moving the most innovative research from Utah’s universities into businesses.

The program helps each Center develop a sound business plan and develop relationships with existing businesses that are interested in the market potential of the specific technology.
